JOB SUMMARY:

As a Senior Performance Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our US and global fundraising teams by providing advanced analytical insights. You will leverage your expertise to analyze both internal performance and external market and performance trends, delivering actionable recommendations to optimize fundraising strategies and enhance donor engagement. Your work will be crucial in understanding and adapting to global fundraising dynamics and improving overall impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Analysis & Reporting & Strategic Insights

Develop and implement comprehensive data analysis strategies to support US and global fundraising initiatives. Analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to track fundraising performance and key metrics within PowerBI and Salesforce.  Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance fundraising strategies, campaign performance, and donor engagement. Collaborate with fundraising teams to understand their needs and develop targeted analytical solutions based on market trends. In collaboration with others, enhance the quality of fundraising data from various sources. Ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems and regions

Market/Peer Trends Analysis

Analyze external US and global market/peer trends in fundraising, including industry benchmarks, donor behavior, and emerging opportunities. Monitor and evaluate changes in the fundraising landscape to provide insights on how these trends impact our strategies and operations. Generate reports and dashboards on market trends and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with US and global fundraising teams to align data insights with organizational goals and fundraising strategies. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.

Innovation & Best Practices

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and fundraising. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance analytical methods and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree or the equivalent in work experience. Experience doing analysis in a data warehouse like Snowflake using PowerBI as the visualization tool.  8+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on fundraising, non-profit, or related sectors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Experience working with diverse teams and managing cross-functional projects. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
