Kimley-Horn's Los Angeles, California (CA) office is seeking a Plumbing Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join their MEP team! 

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing design and engineering consulting, particularly within the healthcare industry.

Support plumbing design execution for various healthcare projects under the guidance of senior engineersAssist in project management tasks, including scheduling, coordination, and budgeting Prepare engineering calculations, system layouts, and equipment selections for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsAssist in the preparation of cost proposals and project contracts, including add service agreementsParticipate in MEP systems reviews, engaging with code officials, contractors, architects, and clients to drive compliance and quality.Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulationsCommunicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractorsParticipate in quality control reviews of MEP system designs, calculations, and drawingsProvide support to designers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teamsGain experience in managing projects, with the opportunity for career growth into senior-level roles Qualifications 10+ years of experience in Plumbing design and engineering for healthcare projects within an engineering consulting environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systemsExperience with design software such as Revit BIM, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, and EasypowerExcellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively on project teamsA PE license and/or Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) is preferred, but candidates pursuing licensure will be consideredDemonstrated ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary teamStrong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking abilityWillingness to learn and grow in a project management capacity

Base Salary Range:
