Job Description SummaryThe Service divisions of GE Grid Solutions GSI North America is currently seeking a senior power transformers field specialist. Reporting directly to the Head of Service Power Transformers (PTR) team, the incumbent will be responsible, in collaboration with the client and the engineering group to ensure the erection, commissioning and maintenance of PTR systems and provide support equipment. It will also train and support these colleagues and the client's employees in performing this task. It should also be available 24/24 for support in case of emergency.

Essential Responsibilities:

Resource planning, equipment and time for commissioning, repair or maintenance expertise.Perform Erection supervision of Power TransformersRun Oil Treatment unitManage Workers customer and / or switch on the site.Perform commissioning testsPrepare progress reports, test results, non-compliance reportAnnotating and editing drawings 'as built'.Participate in the drafting of technical procedures.Submit to external customers and internal technical documentation necessary for operation and maintenance of equipment. Provide information supplements as needed.Provide technical assistance in the preparation of submission.Participate in the development of inspection criteria in collaboration with customers and engineering team.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Transformer or HV/MV apparatus or Electrical EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of field experience in Power TransformersAbility and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time

The salary range for this position is 78,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. 78,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD Annual.
