Sr. Pricing Analyst
**Work Schedule** Standard (Mon-Fri) **Environmental Conditions** Office **Job Description** **How will you make an impact?** The Senior Analyst is in charge of leading, and implementing the pricing strategies, processes, and systems for Life Sciences Group (LSG). This role reports to Director of Pricing for LSG. The Senior Analyst will interact with a team Analysts, providing guidance and support to achieve pricing excellence and meet organizational goals. **Responsibilities:** + Provide subject matter pricing expertise to LSG + Prepare executive-level reports of findings and opportunities to increase price attainment. Lead Division QBR (Quarterly Business Review) and MBR (Monthly Business Review) for pricing + Coach and develop Jr. Analysts on the Team to achieve pricing excellence + Provide analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives, including setting list prices, AOP, determining customer-specific pricing, promotion strategies, web pricing strategies, and identifying product conversion opportunities. + Determine new product introduction price positioning. Work closely with marketing, product management and finance teams to determine optimal launch price + Build Ad-hoc modeling and analysis related to price/volume tradeoff **Minimum Qualifications:** + Proven experience in the fields of Analytics or Data Science + Proficient in SQL programming running complex queries & stored procedures. Strong SQL skills is a must for this role + Proficient in advanced Excel is required. Should be comfortable with Pivot Tables, Joining tables, building excel models and regression testing + Python programming preferred but not required + Power BI experience preferred but not required + Must have bachelor’s degree in business, operations, mathematics, economics, or a scientific field. Advanced degrees preferred but not required + Strong creativity, drive, and communication skills + Prior experience working in large corporate environment, or a diversified, complex organization is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable operating within a matrix structure. + Ability to travel (~10%) **Education/ Experience:** + Must have bachelor’s degree in business, operations, mathematics, economics, or a scientific field. + Advanced degrees preferred but not required **Country/State/City:** US/California/Carlsbad **Compensation and Benefits** The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $92,900.00–$145,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
