Sr. Pricing Analyst

Join our team as a Sr. Pricing Analyst supporting Data Driven Estimating initiatives! In this role, you'll gather and evaluate historical data to for use by estimators, Pricing Analysts and other stakeholders Analyze current state of estimating efforts and develop roadmaps and training to increase use of Data Driven Estimating techniques. Additionally, you'll track data and information to stay current on trends and processes to increase the use of Data Driven Estimating across the company.
As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategic Roadmap Development:**
+ Formulate and implement long-term DDE enterprise roadmaps with 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year milestones.
+ **Current and Future State Analysis:**
+ Conduct a thorough analysis of the current DDE state.
+ Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and the desired future state.
+ **Efficiency and Accuracy Improvements:**
+ Identify opportunities for enhancing estimating efficiency and accuracy, such as transitioning from discrete Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs).
+ Develop, implement, and maintain CERs at the program, Business Unit (BU), Business Area (BA), or enterprise level as appropriate.
+ **Stakeholder Collaboration:**
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders, advocates, and DDE experts to further DDE objectives.
+ Establish and chair a DDE steering committee comprising various functional stakeholders.
+ **Development of a Data Driven Estimating Toolbox:**
+ Develop, validate, implement, and maintain historical datasets for future estimates.
+ Develop a database front end/interface to facilitate the identification of data relevant to current estimating efforts.
+ Develop gold-standard model BOEs for various functional estimates to leverage as the basis for BOEs.
+ Investigate concepts for leveraging data utilizing AI tools.
+ **Metrics Development and Maintenance:**
+ Develop and maintain metrics to monitor estimating methodologies by Line of Business (LOB), program type, BA/BU.
+ Develop, maintain, and brief periodic metrics and reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) to assess the state and progress of DDE initiatives.
+ **Training and Briefing Support:**
+ Support or lead the development of DDE-related briefings and training sessions to educate and align the organization on DDE practices.
+ **Cost and Pricing Analysis:**
+ Analyze statistical and proposal data to establish recommended cost and price objectives for proposals.
+ Review internal cost or pricing data and all other factors available to support internal cost estimates parallel with proposal development.
+ Provide independent cost analysis to establish the adequacy and accuracy of internal proposal efforts.
+ Participate in cost and pricing reviews with management.
+ Use industry techniques and practices to conduct fact-finding (audits) to establish fair and reasonable pricing positions and negotiation ranges.
+ **Training and Community Engagement:**
+ Develop, update, and deliver training to the proposal community in the use of industry best practices, SNC policies, templates, and forms related to cost estimating.
**Qualifications The Employee Must Have**
• 12+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree; Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Aerospace & Defense Finance experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Prior experience interpreting considerable data of a technical/programmatic nature
• Thorough Understanding of research and analysis methods
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
**Qualifications We Prefer**
• 6+ years of Aerospace & Defense Finance experience.
• Experience with cost models in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels.
• Demonstrated experience in working independently and being proactive.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills, while maintaining attention to detail and effective time management/organization.
• Experience with cost-effectiveness, CID, CAS/TINA analyses.
• Experience in developing data models and cost risk analysis for complex aerospace systems.
• Experience with the creation of labor standards and data-driven estimating models.
• Experience in performing cost estimating activities such as cost analysis, statistical analysis, WBS development, and cost risk analysis.
• Experience with DoD Acquisition principles and guides, e.g., MIL-STD 881E, O&S CAPE Guide, DAU Guide on Systems Engineering, etc.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
