Aerospace Structures sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Training Rep to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.  This position will be located in Iuka, MS where technology and teamwork come together. 

Essential Functions:

Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and 12 years additional manufacturing experience and/or related education experienceMinimum of 6 years of aircraft structures workDoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access required to start, but not required to applyAbility to work any shiftMust be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working overheadMust be able to access small, confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Team leadership experienceCurrent DoD and Program Special AccessAbility to obtain and maintain any certs needed for working on the production floor.Composites and airframe fabrication, assembly, and LO coatings experienceAbility to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesExperience with operating various types of manufacturing tools and/or composition curing equipmentMust be able to individually manage multiple tasks concurrently and provide technical support to business functions on a variety of different projectsExperience with reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and process proceduresAbility to interface with various support organizations and levels of managementStrong oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter who is able to work with minimal directionThe ability to pass Special Medical/Respiratory Exam.

Salary Range: $81,800.00 - $122,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
