The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) SBU is in need of Procurement leadership supporting our fastest growing programs. The focus of the role will be on providing leadership and a focus on near-term and long-term priorities to support the Growth projections. Daily the selected individual will represent Procurement in the Core Control room (CCR) focused on near term and long term priorities.
What You Will Do:
Near term: focus will be on constraints that require partnering internally with various stakeholders and externally with driving resolution at suppliers that ensure our needs are met. Additionally, develop requisition burndown plans and drive the performance across the SBU and Commodity procurement teams to reduce the amount of late to place PO's.
Longer term: Focus will be on establishing supplier relationships that foster improved collaboration and sustainable performance. This will be done through Supplier Performance type activities that drive changes to how we partner with the suppliers and hold all stakeholders accountable. Additionally, each of the programs has long term objectives of ramping rate in order to drive increased throughput in Raytheon factories. A core focus of this lead will be on driving actions across the Procurement team to enable deliveries supportive of Raytheon's Long Range Plan.
Analyze data, document metrics and trends, populate CCR, Purchase Reqs (PRs) slides, and Late to Dock deliveries.
Work w/ Buyers/Managers to status Late To Contract (LTC) and Critical PR’s, update CCR PR slides throughout the week, and present on PR’s at daily stand up (e.g. validate notes w/ plans & ECD’s, identify help needed, etc.)
Publish list of LTC and Critical PR’s to PC/MPM team so they can assist in setting priorities and identify alternative solutions to address LTC position (e.g. group to group transfers, expediting PO deliveries, etc.)
Support meetings on Late to Dock PO actions, etc.
Communicate priorities and request expedites w/ Fast X as required
Work with Buyers, their Managers and FastX to remove barriers to PO placement
Support program meetings, supplier meetings and contact suppliers/buyers directly to expedite material deliveries
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience developing tactical plans and carrying through to successful execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically expert level Excel
Aerospace and Defense industry experience
Experience communicating and present to senior leadership
Experience with a variety of commodities (Engineered Items, Electronics and Mechanical)

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
