Are you ready to play a lead transformative role in optimizing workforce planning, logistics and distribution strategies? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain, you will play a lead role in ensuring the seamless migration of legacy workforce planning to our new Blue Yonder Workforce Management System. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure its successful implementation and integration into operations. You will drive the development of new processes and governance framework to enhance workforce planning and distribution analytics practices, creating sustainable solutions that meet current and future business needs. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting enhancements in operational efficiency across our distribution network. Your in-depth knowledge of warehouse labour planning, supply chain processes, and proficiency in forecasting and data management, coupled with demonstrated experience in Workforce Planning applications and distribution analytics is essential to this role.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Workforce Planning and Analytics
Develop, maintain, and optimize workforce forecasting models using Blue Yonder.Analyze historical data to refine forecasting methodologies and improve responsiveness.Provide analytical support for labor budgeting and ensure alignment with business objectives.Take a lead role in supporting the implementation of Blue Yonder Workforce Management, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with operational needs.Establish governance frameworks and develop new processes to maximize the value of workforce management systems and practices.Distribution Planning and Analytics
Support capacity planning and optimize workload balancing across distribution centers.Conduct scenario planning to evaluate optimal distribution strategies.Collaborate on operations planning and labor allocation strategies to meet current and projected demands.Lead initiatives to streamline distribution processes and enhance operational efficiency.Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Develop and track KPIs related to labor efficiency, productivity, and cost.Create actionable reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.Support financial and productivity reporting and support the annual budgeting process for the Supply Chain DivisionMonitor performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.Stakeholder Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and supply chain management.Lead discussions to align on strategic goals and share insights for process improvement.Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership, facilitating informed decision-making.About You
Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).Experience: 3+ years in workforce management, demand forecasting, or supply chain analytics (5+ years preferred).Skills:3+ years forecasting experience with strong acumen in advanced forecasting methodologies.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quantitative methods and statistical analysis.Expertise with workforce management systems like Blue Yonder, with direct experience implementing and optimizing these tools.Strong critical thinking, project management, and stakeholder communication abilities.Experience in financial planning and productivity analysis for distribution centres.Advanced proficiency with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel.Preferred: Certifications in Workforce Management, Six Sigma, or advanced analytics techniques, Supply Chain Management.We offer a comprehensive suite of benefits, including access to an Employee & Family Assistance Program, a Defined Benefit Pension, discounts on products and services via Workperks, and much more.
