The Sr. Contract Administrator will work closely with the legal team and internal customers/vendors to review and negotiate various contracts, including service, capital, and time and material contracts. The role involves ensuring all contracts comply with company policies, managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, and serving as the primary contact for procurement-related inquiries. The Sr. Contract Administrator will also be responsible for implementing best practices for contract terms and conditions.
Responsibilities
+ Administer supplies, materials, and equipment purchase contracts through Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) in coordination with the legal department.
+ Review contracts for best pricing and delivery options, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
+ Assess contract compliance and identify potential risks of non-conformance.
+ Prepare briefs and reports on contract compliance discrepancies, supplier performance, and contract renewal schedules.
+ Share and clarify contract processes, conditions, and details with management, business partners, and employees.
+ Evaluate products and services for cost-saving opportunities.
+ Manage cellular contracts, negotiate pricing, renewals, and discontinuation of services.
+ Assist in developing a formal RFP process, including templates and terms and conditions.
+ Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, availability, service, and support.
+ Provide guidance on contractual obligations while minimizing corporate liability.
+ Maintain digital and hard copy files of vendor contracts.
+ Create and prepare requests for pricing quotes and bids, and evaluate vendor responses if separate from the RFP process.
+ Evaluate and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
+ Work closely with accounts payable to resolve invoicing issues, ensuring compliance with purchase order or contract requirements.
+ Create and present reports on contracts pending, needing renewal, etc., to management.
+ Establish and maintain effective communication with vendors and sales representatives.
+ Assist with maintaining the purchasing system, including qualified vendors, current prices, product information, and other pertinent information.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree is required.
+ 7+ years of purchasing (procurement) experience.
+ 3+ years of contract experience (managing, developing, administration).
+ Experience navigating ERP systems (Netsuite or similar preferred).
+ Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
+ Working knowledge of contractual agreement language, standard contracting and bidding procedures, contract development and management, and general procurement procedures.
+ Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent negotiation and facilitation skills.

Work Environment
This is an in-office role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The Sr. Contract Administrator will sit in their own office and report to the designated supervisor. The role offers the possibility of becoming a full-time employee, with contract extensions likely based on budget, need, and performance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr.
