Sr. Procurement Manager

About the team

Our CFO organization owns all Finance, Real Estate, Operations, Data Strategy, and Investor Relations for Dialpad. This team provides the infrastructure for how we continue to scale and build customer and investor value globally.

Your Role

The Senior Procurement Manager is excited to design and scale a centralized procurement function, delivering cost savings through best-in-class procurement strategies and execution. This senior individual contributor role reports to the Director of Accounting and will interface directly with our senior and executive staff.

What You’ll Do Procurement Strategy Development:
Establish a standardized end-to-end procurement framework by understanding business needs, budget allocation, conducting RFI/RFP processes, selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, executing agreements, and onboarding vendors/services. Create, develop, and standardize strategies for cost-effective purchasing of software, hardware, and services, conducting cost analyses and setting improvement benchmarks. Policy and Governance:
Monitor and enhance procurement policies and governance for all company purchases, ensuring alignment with company policies and compliance with internal controls like SOX. Operational Efficiency:
Contribute to the design, Implementation and streamlining of systems, applications, and processes to scale procure-to-pay operations and establish public-company grade controls. Vendor and Contract Management:
Work closely with senior leadership to consolidate vendors into a select group of trusted, world-class advisors. Develop strong vendor relationships while continually scouting for alternatives to optimize cost, quality, and features. Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and service providers to ensure best-in-class pricing, delivery, and quality, and proactively re-negotiate less effective agreements. Develop data sets to track active contracts, monitor expirations and renewals. Collaboration:
Partner with Finance, Legal, and Infosec teams to evaluate funding/spending, ensure favorable contract terms, and maintain compliance. Performance Metrics:
Provide proactive and consistent dashboards showcasing procurement trends and performance against plans. Skills You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution. 10+ years of experience in procurement and purchasing management, finance, accounting, or business operations. At least 4 years in a high-growth SaaS or cloud software company, with experience in both public and private sectors preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and leading procurement software tools. Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal outcomes for Dialpad. Self-starter, results-drive mentality, capable of managing end-to-end procurement for a fast-paced organization. Excellent verbal, written, reporting, and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines. Strong presentation skills for both internal and external audiences. Unwavering integrity.
