Position Summary:
The Procurement Sr. Specialist is responsible for the negotiation of pricing with vendors and management of procurement process, and the new vendors onboarding process. It is also responsible for maintaining the Control Repository up to date and handle the proceeds in SAP to function optimally.
The Procurement Sr. Specialist reports to the Procurement and General Services Manager.
Position Duties / Responsibilities:
Responsible for the New vendor Onboarding process
Responsible for dealing with vendors, negotiating contracts, competitive bid tendering, and related processes
Ensure a variety of reliable vendor relationships and create strong working relationships internally
Responsible for online purchases for the Bank
Implement Audit & SOX recommendations and Perform TPRM process with Operational Risk
Participate in the elaboration of the yearly budget
General procurement reporting to SHUSA
Assist to the Procurement Forum
SAP Expenses Administrator
Responsible for Procurement reporting and analysis
Collaborate in new initiatives and department projects, such as the following Group implementations:
• USA Looking ahead
• New Ariba cloud
• Globality
Other duties as assigned or requested by immediate supervisor
Specialized Knowledge:
• Experience with Information Technology purchasing and proven corporate savings
• Able to maintain the highest degree on confidentiality and professional discretion.
• MS Access, Power Point, Excel, Concur.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize activities, manage conflicts of interest, meet deadlines while working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to achieve efficient and productive results by working together with
different departments.
Project manager orientation
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
Business Experience:
5-7 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft
Advanced Analytical Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, organized
Licenses / Certifications
Languages:
Spanish, English

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
