Job Description

Visa’s Acceptance Risk Solutions product management team is seeking a Sr. Product Manager who is creative, energetic, and a skilled problem-solver with strong analytical and communication abilities. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations and execution of merchant-facing fraud and risk solutions with an emphasis on client implementations. The ideal candidate will excel in detailed client interactions, data analysis, and ensuring that products and solutions meet client needs and expectations.

Essential Functions

The Sr. Product Manager will:

Analysis Findings: Perform data and process analysis to identify product performance, perception, and market impact. Summarize findings into key concepts and communicate effectively.Voice Of The Customer: Manage opportunities for clients to influence product development and receive voice of the customer. Lead live and written sessions with clients to understand product performance and client needs.Case Studies: Highlight successful implementations and incremental benefits of risk solutions.Documentation: Gain a deep understanding of client needs and actions, creating product documentation that ensures the highest rate of client success and satisfaction.Evangelism: Vocally educate stakeholders and promote risk solutions internally to ensure widespread adoption and support.Client Counseling: Develop and provide detailed client counseling documents to assist clients in understanding and utilizing product features effectively.Implementation Guides: Create comprehensive implementation guides to facilitate smooth and efficient client onboarding and product execution.

This client-facing product management position requires a balance of strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate for this role is energetic and quick-thinking with a knack for strategic creativity. The Sr. Product Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that Visa's risk solutions meet client needs and expectations through effective product execution and continuous improvement. Their outgoing personality and clever problem-solving abilities provide them with the ability to provide guidance and advocate for effective product implementations and usage. 

Above all, this role is a champion for Visa’s risk products and their usage in current and future opportunities. This position may require occasional travel to client sites, industry events, and Visa locations around the globe.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 207,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
