Sr. Product Manager, Genomics Software
Job Description

Agilent’s Genomics Division develops high-quality, innovative product offerings, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our NGS Team.  The Product Manager in this role will be responsible for developing and managing our NGS software partnerships (for secondary and tertiary analysis) in support of Agilent’s SureSelect and Avida NGS target enrichment products with a focus on development and execution of strategies in the oncology market.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate NGS software providers (secondary and tertiary analysis) to support Agilent’s target enrichment business, make recommendations to management team for path forward, and lead negotiations with chosen partners.

On-going management of partners to provide software requirements enabling analysis of on-market and new NGS custom and catalog panels.

Define software product portfolio and configurations and create bundled pricing strategies with reagents.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners from other Agilent functions such as Genomics Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, RA/QA, Commercial Marketing, and Sales to solicit product feedback and gain alignment/endorsement of the software strategy.

Work with other Genomics Product Managers to align roadmaps, create and execute portfolio product marketing strategies to achieve stated revenue, profitability and market share objectives.

In collaboration with Product Marketing and Commercial Marketing, develop product launch strategies and implement launch plans.

Work with KOLs to drive market penetration in specific application areas.

Qualifications

B.S. in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology; related discipline or equivalent.

8+ years of relevant technical experience developing software for NGS applications and/or Product Management experience or equivalent (e.g. Informatics FAS).

Background in oncology through education or work experience; experience in molecular diagnostics or regulated environments a plus.

Experience working with global markets/customers.

Demonstrated use of marketing/technical skills to define and commercialize products that result in business success.

Experience coordinating and collaborating with diverse teams, ensuring alignment and synergy across departments.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with multifunctional stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel.

Additional Details

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $133,120.00 - $249,600.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
