Sr. Product Manager, JP Customer Shopping Experience, Amazon
Description Amazon is seeking for a customer centric team member to drive improvements with Amazon Japan shopping journey. The Sr Product Manager is primary responsible for understanding largest customer pains by partnering with business teams and adopting right solution Japan wide. This individual will lead cross-Product Families and cross-Functional projects, co-working with multiple tech teams WW (primarily US, EU, and India). This individual will lead projects to launch new-to-JP features/program and expand the program to all relevant categories across JP by overcoming Japan unique challenges in scalable way (such as language, back-end elements, etc). The ideal candidate has solid program & product management experience with a proven track record of launching and adopting multiple highly impactful initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to work in the global culture, lead cross-functional/broader project, and understand Amazon-site UX. Key job responsibilities • Understand customer pain points, create and execute strategy to improve customer shopping journey on Amazon. • Involve, influence and make clear alignment with key local and global stakeholders (business, tech, marketing and legal leaders). • Own implementing cross-Product-Family programs/features in partnership with Tech teams by getting inputs from category teams, setting business requirements, and creating mechanism to monitor KPIs. • Prepare and give business reviews with senior management on regular basis. • Manage prioritization and make trade-off decisions (i.e., speed to launch vs. required resource, program performance in short vs. long term.) Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders - Language skill: English & Japanese - Business level Preferred Qualifications - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
