Sr. Product Manager, Mobile POS

Shift4 is seeking an experienced Mobile app Product Manager to spearhead our journey forward. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in revolutionizing our mobile POS experiences to align with the ever-changing needs of our users. Your responsibilities will encompass crafting the roadmap and seamless delivery of our mobile POS products. With your in-depth knowledge of the mobile technology landscape and awareness of competitive trends, you will drive the creation of exceptional mobile user experiences. Collaborating closely with a dedicated team of engineers, designers, and fellow Product Managers, you will lead the testing, iteration, and scaling of new app experiences within a dynamic environment. You will take ownership of key app metrics, including installs, and feature engagement, and provide insightful progress reports to our executive team. 

 

This role is a hybrid position based at any of the following Shift4 locations: Tampa, FL, Atlanta, GA, or Center Valley, PA. Relocation assistance may be provided. 

 

Responsibilities

 

Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our mobile POS products, aligning with business goals and user needs. Define the product roadmap and feature prioritization based on user research, competitive & market analysis, and technology trends. User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate closely with our designers and cross-functional teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications that meet user needs and enhance usability. Product Development: Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle for POS mobile products, from ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and launch.  User Research: Conduct user research and feedback analysis to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points. Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and product improvements, and iterate on features and designs based on user feedback. Technical Expertise: Possess a strong technical background and understanding of mobile app development technologies, platforms, and frameworks. Work closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and implementation of design concepts and features, and provide guidance on best practices for mobile app development. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and operations to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the product development process. Serve as the primary advocate for the user and drive cross-functional initiatives to deliver exceptional mobile app experiences.

 

Qualifications:

 

6+ years of experience in product management roles, with a focus on point of sale, mobile app development, and UX/UI design Experience with point of sale applications specific to food & beverage establishments, and a comprehensive understanding of food & beverage operations as they relate to point of sale. Passion for user-centric design, innovation, user experience research, and delivering exceptional mobile experiences. Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving product development initiatives from concept to launch. Strong design skills and proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Mira Technical proficiency in mobile app development technologies, platforms, and frameworks (e.g., iOS, Android, React Native). Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization
