Schwab’s Digital Wealth & Advice Platforms team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to be responsible for developing and implementing a new trading platform experience and integrations to support our digital advice platforms. The Product Manager will coordinate with cross-functional business partners including Agile Scrum teams and will oversee the implementation of a product roadmap that will enhance Schwab’s advised and managed investing offerings.
Members of the team who are highly successful demonstrate the ability to manage the product lifecycle, think creatively, develop recommendations that are data driven/fact-based, deliver results in a matrixed organization and have the flexibility and maturity to handle various situations. This role is for individuals with a bias for action and who are detail oriented.
Key Responsibilites for this role include:
Develop and implement Schwab’s Trading and other portfolio capabilities with focus on APIs in partnership with senior stakeholders and end usersCollaborate cross-functionally with other Product Managers in Digital Wealth Platforms, technology leads and architectsBuild a product roadmap to articulate and drive the prioritiesCreate a release plan in coordination with the scrum team and other lines of businessManage development efforts and technology scrum teams: writing user stories, refining the backlog, and working with other teamsDefine test plans and acceptance criteria and oversee end to end testingProvide timely and proactive production support to usersWhat you have
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of product management / product developmentExperience implementing digital experiences using Agile development practices leading multiple teams as Product ManagerPreferred Qualifications:
Strong Trading/Portfolio Management within Financial Services is preferredExperience with Wealth Management is preferredKnowledge of Schwab products, services and support systems is a plusWorking knowledge of Aladdin Integration is a plusBachelor and post graduate degrees are a plusSelf-starter with strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping prioritiesIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
