Visual content like photography, video, 3D or graphic design is critical for Customers to understand and evaluate products in their online shopping journey. Our team is continually innovating and setting new industry standards for showcasing tens of millions of products across multiple countries.
These visuals are essential for Customers to connect to the products they see in their shopping journey. Therefore, they need to be accurately representing these products. Accurate images are also important to optimize our supply chain and to enable our Selling Partners managing their portfolio updates seamlessly.
The Amazon Visual Innovation Team is looking for a Senior product manager to define the guidance on visual product identity across all countries and product categories, and to work with our tech and science teams to implement the mechanisms that will ensure this guidance is met.
A successful candidate will have a track record of defining, building, and delivering technology products. They are a great communicator with experience aligning diverse teams on complex topics.
They are not afraid to challenge the status quo and are passionate about Customers. The role requires an ability to dive deep into technical details, and work cross functionally to inform business and technology roadmaps. This person will employ high judgement, influence internal and external stakeholders, and deliver results under ambitious timelines.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage product end-to-end lifecycles, from customer research, through strategic and roadmap planning, to launch iterations based on customer feedback and performance metrics.
- Partner with multi-model computer vision scientists and software developers to deliver products based on roadmaps you create
- Launch the vision, strategy, and roadmap and work with key stakeholders to build the requirements and deliver on that vision
- Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning
- Identify and document needs for trade off, involving leadership when needed
- Define goals and monitor key performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve product performance
Basic Qualifications
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- SQL Acumen, Supply chain and/or FMCG experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
