Do you thrive on driving innovation and building entirely new products from the ground up? Are you looking for a high-impact, global role where you can use your product management expertise to transform a critical part of Amazon's business? The Global Delivery Service Partner (DSP) organization is seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager to lead a strategic initiative reshaping our global last mile delivery operations.
At Amazon, we're constantly reinventing the customer experience, including how we fulfill and deliver orders. A key part of this is our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program, which empowers small businesses to build their own delivery companies using Amazon's proven logistics technology and processes. These DSP partners form the backbone of our last mile delivery network across 20 international markets, allowing us to provide a fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery experience for our customers.
In this role, you will own the product strategy and roadmap for a new DSP model focused on enhancing speed, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness. This role will require the candidate to shift the mental framework of thinking to service sub-same day (SSD) deliveries to disrupt the market and continue to push the needle on faster delivery speed to the end customer. You will be responsible for identifying customer pain points and optimization opportunities through data analysis to inform the product vision and roadmap. Leveraging your strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, you will lead end-to-end product development, from ideation to launch, for innovative last mile delivery solutions.
Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and other teams, you will bring these new products and features to life. You will also be called upon to communicate product strategies and recommendations effectively to senior leadership, driving critical business decisions in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
This is a truly global role, with the chance to transform Amazon's last mile delivery operations in over 20 countries around the world. If you're looking to take your product management career to new heights, this position provides an exceptional platform to expand your expertise and make a significant impact on our global logistics network.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or a related field. You should thrive in a highly analytical, customer-centric environment and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. A background in technology innovation, process optimization or logistics is a plus. Our organization is based in the US, but we drive global operations across 20 countries. Domestic and international travel will be required 10-20% of the time. Outside of business travel, the role will require candidates to be in the office in New York, NY.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon's global logistics network. You will have the chance to drive innovation that scales across our worldwide operations and shapes the future of how we fulfill customer orders. If you're looking to take your product management career to new heights, we'd love to hear from you.
