What You’ll Be Doing
The Salesforce product delivery team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Salesforce application that supports our retail banking line of business. with capabilities that address business objectives and enable optimal client experience. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Delivery, Salesforce, the Sr. Product Manager – Salesforce, Agile Operations has a highly collaborative mandate, with exposure across the platform and various lines of business.
The Sr. Product Manager will require strong thought leadership, strategic thinking, facilitation and proactive stakeholder management. This role will be accountable for ensuring that delivery aligns to the platform strategy, vision & roadmap, while maximizing business value. In this role, you are accountable for understanding the needs of various stakeholders (lines of business, technology, governance etc.) and ensuring alignment across various groups regarding the program increments. You are responsible for making choices that increase overall platform efficiency and maximize value. This includes driving Agile Operations, Product Management & delivery life-cycle best practices, and enabling data-driven decisions. You will also lead continuous improvement activities for our platform to enable the successful execution of the delivery roadmap.
How You’ll Succeed
Provide a clear vision of the platform and drive strategic alignment – work closely with Partners across the enterprise to understand the platform vision and drive alignment to our Digital & Canadian Banking strategic priorities.
Understand our delivery processes intimately – act as primary contact and subject matter expert on our Agile delivery model, platform processes, intake management, tools, data flow & integrations to fully champion and optimize how we work. In partnership with technology teams, support problem resolution, prioritization and continuous improvement activities.
Work with and drive alignment with stakeholders – ensure that we are delivering on the right initiatives at the right time and keep our stakeholders engaged throughout the delivery life-cycle. Understand and manage competing needs & priorities and set expectations at various levels of the organization.
Own the prioritized platform delivery roadmap & backlog – in partnership with delivery teams & partners, lead Product Implement (PI) Planning activities for platform and measure success with OKRs to meet business objectives.
Relationship Management – Develop and manage strong relationships with internal & external partners to continuously explore digital opportunities to address key business challenges that add value for users & clients.
Influence – You provide leadership support to the product teams, pods, technology & business partners. You provide indirect leadership to your colleagues and look for opportunities to improve how we work.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 3 to 5 years work experience working with agile teams in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, delivering medium and large-scale initiatives.
You can demonstrate 3 to 5years of work experience in product management, agility & project management practices and principles to analyze and interpret complex concepts and apply them in creative ways.
You are strong communicator. Your communication is effective, timely and reflective based on who your audience is. You lead with concise and impactful verbal, written and presentation skills that can foster buy-in with stakeholders and partners at various levels of the organization.
