We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Product Manager to lead our DSPM product portfolio. This role is pivotal in driving the market strategy, support marketing activities, go-to-market (GTM), and overall commercial success of a common analytics and reporting solution for all Forcepoint products. As a Product Manager, you will blend deep technical understanding with strong business acumen to effectively translate market insights into actionable product strategies as well as have a passion for network security, data, cloud architectures, and a deep understanding of the enterprise security and compliance market.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Strategy Development: Define and execute the product strategy for the DSPM portfolio, including market positioning, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans.Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through end-of-life, ensuring alignment with market demands, competitive landscape, and company goals continually focusing on improving our data products and helping customers get maximum value.Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive product roadmap prioritization, feature definition, and successful product launches. Developing deep and trusted relationships with engineering leads, peer product managers and other key stakeholders.Customer Insights: Conduct market research, customer interviews that lead to deep understanding customer’s questions and concerns and competitive analysis to gather insights that inform product development and marketing strategies to create scalable methods of ensuring the value propositions and technical details are communicated effectively.Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, training programs, and collateral that empower the sales team to effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to customers and partners to increase customer engagement,Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the analytics and reporting product portfolio, regularly monitoring, and reporting on product performance against these metrics.Thought Leadership: Establish yourself and the company as thought leaders in the security space through industry conferences, webinars, white papers, and other thought leadership initiatives.Additional Responsibilities:
P&L Ownership: Take ownership of the solutions and financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost management. Approach everything with drive and energy with an eye on both the bottom line and customer success.Strategic Planning: Contribute to overall company strategic planning and business development efforts, providing insights and recommendations based on market trends and customer feedback. Managing roadmaps, making key tradeoff decisions on what to build and what not to build.Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary advocate for customers within the organization, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed across all functions.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities in the market and proactively develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. Communicating the value and trade-offs of the product decisions made.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven experience 8+ years as a Product Manager in the cybersecurity or networking industry, with specific experience in Analytics and Reporting (SIEM, SOAR, UX) solutions highly desirable.Demonstrated success in developing and executing outbound product strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling business cases.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Don’t meet every single qualification?
