Sr. Product Owner, Third Party Servicing
How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta’s Sales and Distribution Servicing Solutions team is committed to delivering industry-leading servicing capabilities for our B2B customers, with a focus on enabling seamless support and integration with third-party travel channels. As a Senior Product Owner, you will drive the strategic development and implementation of the servicing solutions product that elevate Delta’s position in the market and align with our New Distribution Capability (NDC) initiatives. This role works closely with Delta’s Enterprise Solutions teams, focusing on improving Delta’s third-party servicing capabilities and encouraging strong collaborative relationships to achieve joint goals. Responsibilities: + Lead the development and execution of a strategy to advanceDelta’s third-party servicing capabilities, ensuring alignment with Delta’sbroader NDC and retail strategies. + Partner with teams across the enterprise to align onobjectives, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables for 3rd party servicing. + Collaborate with teams to support third-party servicingimprovements, ensuring technical and functional alignment across teams. + Translate business goals and customer needs intowell-defined Epics, Features, and User Stories, enabling Agile development. + Identify and resolve roadblocks in servicing processes andsystems, optimizing project delivery and supporting cross-functional tradeoffswhen vital. + Develop and execute plans informed by customer feedback,competitive insights, and market research, adapting as needed to drive thevision. + Use data and market trends to identify functional gaps andnew opportunities, continually refining the product roadmap. + Keep detailed project records, including technicalrequirements and progress reports, to keep collaborators informed and on thesame page. + Manage development to ensure systems effectively meetthird-party servicing requirements and drive desired business outcomes. + Serve as product expert and oversee/lead program initiatives What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + 5-7 years of experience in product management + 3+ years of experience with B2B servicing or third-partyintegrations. + Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to workeffectively across technical and business teams, particularly in collaborativeprojects. + Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, balancepriorities, and navigate interdependencies in a fast-paced environment. + Curiosity about industry trends, particularly in third-partyretail integration and customer servicing. + Embraces diversity people, thinking, and styles. + Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others,the priority + High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education. + Experience working in ambiguous environments + Experience in Agile Product Management or Product Ownership,especially in customer-facing applications. What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) + Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Business,Information systems, or a related field. + Proven track record to articulate and lead strategicservicing initiatives that complement broader retail goals. + Familiarity with NDC standards, cloud technology platforms(AWS), and Agile principles. + Background in the travel industry, particularly airlines,travel agencies, or GDS. + Strong analytical skills, effective planning abilities, anda data-driven approach to decision-making.
