CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Sr. Product Owner (CRM / Customer Lifecycle) to join our talented Enterprise IT team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

About the role:

The Sr. Product Owner (CRM / Customer Lifecycle) will collaborate with the business/marketing team and other stakeholders to develop CRM and customer lifecycle initiatives. They will work with business teams to define and adapt the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and implementation of marketing technology solutions that drive our marketing strategies and enhance customer engagement. They will collaborate with engineering, UX, and research teams to develop requirements, prioritize the product backlog, and lead Agile ceremonies. The Sr. Product Owner engages in continuous discovery and delivery, integrating feedback on product features, functionality, and user experience. They monitor product performance, analyze feedback, and address gaps to ensure quality and timely delivery. 

How you’ll create opportunities in this Senior Product Owner role:  

Collaborate with business owner, sponsor and leadership to define the product vision, and strategy, problems to solve, establish product OKRs and KPIs and impact of goals. Clearly communicate the product vision, strategy, goals, and requirements to the engineering, architect, research and UX teams. Lead the Agile team toward outcomes rather than outputs (achieving and exceeding OKR/KPI targets).  Partner with the business owner, to develop the product requirements document (PRD), to articulate the product’s purpose and objectives (“what” and “why”), the product functional and non-functional requirements, flow diagram (as required) and other product artifacts as needed. Subsequently, collaborate with the architecture, engineering, and experience teams in continuous discovery and solutioning. Own the product roadmap and collaborate with the business owner to prioritize the features/functions. Discuss tradeoffs, value/ROI and impact of features or functionalities. Partner with the program/project manager to establish delivery milestones and dates. Synthesize ideas, user feedback, learnings, insights and revised business/marketing needs gathered into the opportunities backlog to inform product discovery/research/innovation as well as the implementation backlog to be prioritized for delivery.  Create requirements, flows and concept sketches that translates business and marketing needs into product requirements. Decompose and adapt the product requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria. Lead and engage in continuous discovery and delivery with the architecture, engineering, product design (UX), research, and QA teams. Partner with these teams to perform idea and hypothesis validation, prototyping, refinement, and solutioning. Align and integrate feedback on product features, functionality, and user experience. Plan and prioritize the product backlog, epics, features, and user stories to ensure alignment with the product strategy and objectives. Identify and manage product risks, assumptions, and constraints to ensure successful project execution and alignment with strategic objectives. Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including program increments (PI), sprint planning, Inspect & Adapt, demos, reviews, and retrospectives. Evaluate and track product performance (KPI), collect and interpret feedback after production, prioritize this feedback, conduct necessary investigations, and draft requirements to address any identified improvement opportunities and gaps. Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time. 

What you will need: 

4+ years of product experience, preferably experience in CRM/customer lifecycle, with a proven track record of successful product delivery is required. Strong understanding of marketing strategies and technologies, including Customer Data Platforms (CDP), marketing automation, website management, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.Scrum Product Owner or Agile certification preferred.
