The candidate will be team’s point of contact between PLMs, Packaging Design, customer compliance, distribution, and other teams. The candidate will also interact with Tier 1 vendors and Tier 2 packaging suppliers for all divisions (Apparel, Accessories and Footwear). This role will monitor the GL&P inbox and answer/resolve any packaging and labeling related concerns from the vendors to avoid ex-factory delays. In addition, this role will manage and track packaging and labeling costs, lead times and provide summaries to the team and identify cost saving opportunities. **Your Impact** ⦁ Define packaging material specifications for logistics packaging. Create/manage library of current materials. ⦁ Define case pack quantities to improve shipping yields and reduce shipping costs ⦁ Represent GL&P in all SHAS and VAS discussions. ⦁ Co-ordinate with global trade compliance and update respective labeling for custom compliance. ⦁ Work with PLMs, Packaging design team to monitor and ensure buy ready deadlines. ⦁ Track and manage final packaging costs and lead times. ⦁ Co-ordinate various packaging tests between Factories and packaging suppliers. ⦁ Interact with packaging suppliers on status of various packaging parts. Upon successful validation of packaging tests and compliance requirements, approve packaging parts in Armoury or Centric. ⦁ Managing production and sourcing expectations between factories and packaging suppliers. ⦁ Follow current GL&P processes and will evaluate them to ensure efficiency. There will be additional opportunities to create and set new processes in place with respect to compliance labeling. ⦁ Interact with our T1s and T2s globally. Communicate with our T1s, T2s, Production, Planning, QA and Home Office GL&P team regarding outstanding labeling and packaging issues. ⦁ Support the team through providing support on key decisions as well as share best practices across all divisions and regions. ⦁ Work and effectively communicate with the customer compliance and distribution teams. **Qualifications** ⦁ Prior experience in Printing or Packaging or Labeling industry required. ⦁ Retail industry and fast paced background preferred. ⦁ Bachelor's degree required. ⦁ 4+ years experience is related field. ⦁ Ability to work cross-functionally. ⦁ Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. **Workplace Location** ⦁ Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office. ⦁ Return To Work Designation: 3 days a week in-office, the remainder of work week remote, occasional visit to UA DH ⦁ Travel: Minimal travel expected ⦁ Licenses/Certifications: N/A **Relocation** + No relocation provided **Base Compensation** $79,484.00 - $109,290.50 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
