We are seeking a high-judgement program manager to setup a gating governance program with scope across all SPS (& non-SPS) teams that take Gating actions on ASIN/Offers for Seller/Brand/Vendors. Gating is a rule-based mechanism to proactively or reactively enforce a seller listing with the intention of driving compliance to policies and preventing catalog abuse by bad actors. The program aims to standardize all aspects of seller experience from the gating action across data, process, seller/vendor central dashboard experience, appeal/remediation paths, measuring accuracy of these actions and reducing the instances of this action.
This role requires working with risk managers, business owners, and tech teams to define strategy, requirements, and align on goals (2023 and YoY thereafter) for this program. This role will own resolving roadblocks for the team, provide escalation management, own regular communication with leadership (including program updates), make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs within constraints.
The ideal candidate is able to influence and gain buy-in from tech, and policy stakeholders, and seamlessly deliver in an ambiguous environment. Problem-solving, cross-team coordination, program management, executive communication, and organizational skills are essential to be successful in this role.
This position combines global strategic thinking with hands-on planning and oversight, and is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to gain product experience, while leveraging their program management skills. This candidate will be part of a fast pacing and entrepreneurial team, and be tasked with building trust over time by launching new processes and developing novel means to measure progress.
