Sr. Program Manager, Workplace Health and Safety

The WHS Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team is seeking an experienced program manager to build, implement, sustain, and improve our engagement programs, policies and procedures.

This role will sit within the WHS Safety Engagement team and will lead a team that will focus on scaling and implementing global programs, and leading WHS engagement channels. This will include standing up a metrics strategy, strengthening our channel infrastructure approach to create a surround sound of WHS-specific content to support WHS as the safety subject matter experts in the field with early information about program launches, development opportunities, team goals and priorities, and recognition for what good looks like. This role will align with our global WHS team and partner teams within Ops Internal Comms (OIC).

The ideal candidate has experience successfully hiring and developing Program Management teams. They are able to set a vision for a team and put the right mechanisms in place to keep team members focused on delivering against it. They are highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused and team oriented, with clear communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with, and influence, key stakeholders. They have a proven track record of looking around corners and thinking big to develop creative solutions to difficult problems. They are highly autonomous and have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Key job responsibilities
• Serve as single-threaded leader for global WHS channels strategy development and implementation.
• Lead scaling and infrastructure, including managing translations, WHS partner program, and channels (including wiki).
• Work with partner teams and use data to identify and prioritize high impact improvement opportunities.
• Create and establish goal frameworks, invent and simplify processes through tools, and drive continuous improvement through automation.
• Define desired outcomes and measure, report, and adjust activities based on those defined goals.
• Bring big ideas to the table, obtain buy-in, and implement at scale.
• Provide periodic project updates, including major successes/challenges, to senior management.
• Work across a wide range of senior leaders, internal stakeholders, and legal, HR, and PR partners to gain alignment on implementation and tactical execution.
