About the Role

The Sr. SAP S/4HANA Program Manager will manage the definition and scoping of projects, alignment with business sponsors and key stakeholders, project execution, and communication of status and risks. The position will focus on providing key inputs into the design and planning of S/4HANA migration and other key programs in PMO.

This position reports into the Senior Director, PMO


What You Will Do

Accountable for helping to manage the overall S/4HANA global implementation.

Develop detailed plans for the delivery, identification, and management of program resources in a matrixed environment.

Simultaneously manage multiple large complex technology-centric global projects.

Identify and partner with key business users from divisions derive project needs that will enhance operations and systems.

Develop and maintain work plans that consider strategic goals, priorities, milestones, time estimates, task sequencing and critical paths while at the same time determining what tasks can be performed concurrently.

Ensures the timely and quality development of all deliverables for programs/projects.

Must be able to thoroughly assess projects eliminating or minimizing scope creep.

Interface with all levels of management and staff to provide strategic and tactical advice on project planning and execution and keep management informed.

Adhere to Solution Delivery Lifecycle Methodology and PMO procedures. Assembles project team, identifies needed resources, assign responsibilities, and develops timeframes to facilitate successful completion of project activities and deliverables.

What You Need (MUST HAVE TO PROCEED)

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience

10 years of overall SAP experience in more than one SAP module (MM, SD, FI/CO, BI)

Min 3 years of experience as project manager for SAP implementations involving S/4HANA.

Understanding of the technology layer and development practices for S/4HANA.

Experience in dealing with various hosting providers.

Ability to influence key client stakeholders on their technology and operations strategy.

Ability to analyze and drive the resolution of cross-functional issues.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects.

A global perspective with the ability to understand and work effectively in a culturally diverse organization. Proven ability to manage key stakeholder interests, simultaneously managing conflicting priorities and business interests.

Excellent communication, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

What is Nice to Have

Project Management or Professional (PMP) certification, SAP Activate, Agile Practitioner or Leader Certification.

Strong business acumen, industry/domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units. Preferred to have ecommerce, finance, supply chain and analytics related project experience

Program management skills and experience, plus significant knowledge of project planning tools with evidence of practical application. Well versed in Change Management and Release Management Processes

Salary Ranges:

USD 122,250 - USD 179,300
