As a Sr. Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of engineering programs within the Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) business unit. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, and ensure successful project delivery. Your expertise in program management and your ability to drive results will contribute to the overall success of the organization. You will report directly to our Program Director and you will work out of our Edmonton, Alberta location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of engineering programs within HPS. You will be responsible for managing budgets, monitoring project progress, and ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Your strong leadership and communication skills will be essential in collaborating with stakeholders and driving the successful execution of programs.

Use your project and organizational skills to be responsible for management of various business projects that drive revenue, increase productivity and improve processes. These projects span across multiple areas and businesses. You will be in a visible position and will require direct interaction with peers and leaders across all these groups. Your projects will vary depending on the organization being supported and therefore requires a vast knowledge across various business practices.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nFollow GPM Mandatory Compliance requirements for all assigned projects\nReview all job contract documents prior to and/or upon booking of project\nImplement and monitor project schedules, ensuring projects are on or ahead of schedule\nMaintain project meeting minutes and distribution\nForecast and review cost performance monthly with LSS management and LSS finance\nEnsuring quality requirements are met, delivered at or below budget and also to proactively identify and address project risks (cost, quality, schedule & scope)\nMonitor scope and implement Change Orders where appropriate\nMaximize utilization & effectiveness of Advanced Migrations Technologies\nEffective communication to keep both the customer and LSS management informed of all aspects of the project\nAssemble project closeout documents and warranties\nMust be based in Western Canada, preferably Alberta Province, Edmonton. Will consider Calgary or Ft. McMurray.\nAbility to travel up to 25% throughout Canada and the United States.\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n3+ years of project management or project engineering experienceAssociate’s degree in Engineering, Business, FinanceFull Class 5 drivers license

WE VALUE

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance\nExpertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and SharePoint.\nKnowledge of IT and financial systems preferred (Sales Force, SAP, etc.).\nStrong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation\nAbility to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities\nImproving performance, meeting commitments, and getting result\nExceeding internal and external customer expectation\nProject Management certification (PMP) preferred\n\n
