Job Description:

As a Sr. Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and installation of projects. Your role will be a senior active member of the Engineering community, site technical team, the local engineering team, and assigned project team(s). Additionally, you will be responsible for deploying his/her engineering know-how to successfully execute and deliver projects to the business that provide a competitive advantage.

The role will either be based out of Elizabethtown, PA or require travel to there as well as potentially any of our major sites across North America. Ideal candidate sits at Elizabethtown or could be at one of our Mars Wrigley sites (Hackettstown, NJ - Cleveland, TN - or Topeka, KS) with increased travel required.

Approximately 20-50% travel requirement depending on project demands.

This associate will concentrate on infrastructure (buildings) and utilities, as well as manage other portfolio programs within the team for the North American region.

What are we looking for?

Minimum:

Bachelor's degree in engineering in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical

7-10 years’ experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry

Proficiency in understanding engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Construction Management

In-depth understanding of designated functional engineering area of expertise – Infrastructure and Sustainability

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
