The Sr Project Lead role provides overall leadership of the project management capability on the team by setting vision, defining strategy, and developing and executing tactics to deploy project management services. This role may serve as project manager on Financial Services initiatives; as well as oversee the work of external contractors who serve as project managers on significant Financial Services/Financial Strategy initiatives. This role will engage with third party vendors to identify and select service providers, negotiate rates, oversee onboarding of contractors, manage contractors, and select and terminate contractors. This role provides a high level of autonomy and requires a high degree of communication, collaboration, facilitation, and organizational planning skills to meet shared objectives for the department.

Responsibilities Set 3-year vision, define strategy, and create and execute tactics for Project Management capability within Financial Transformation.Oversee capability services fully autonomously, including:scoping & requirements gatheringstrategy & resourcing needsproject plan design, development & deliveryproject team(s) alignment, support and communicationproject management education & advisoryManage the selection and oversight of external project management vendorsPlan and direct projects and project managers for significant Financial Services initiativesCreate and maintain self-serve/on demand project management resources to support various levels of project management services to the departmentAdapt work as required to meet project deadlinesWork with financial stakeholders across the business (e.g. DTT, Legal) to set project management strategy for projectsConduct project reviews and create status reports for Financial Services leadershipDefine and capture measurements of success for project management capability Minimum Qualifications Strong collaboration skillsAbility to work autonomouslyStrong organizational and planning skillsFinancial acumenExperience facilitating and managing multiple deadlines and business partnersProven capacity in building relationships within diverse organizational areasSelf-motivation with high level of initiativeDemonstrates eagerness to learn and assume responsibilityAbility to deal with ambiguity and change in a dynamic business environmentDetail orientation with problem-solver mindsetExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsProject management/scrum master certification Preferred Qualifications Project Management Major and/or PMP (or equivalent) Certification Minimum Years of Experience 4 Travel Requirements 5% Required Level of Education Bachelor's Degree Preferred Level of Education N/A Submit Resume ApplyApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
