Job Summary
The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for standardizing the methodology for implementation and management of large GBS and Corporate initiatives. This includes developing standard tools, templates, methodologies and documentation of initiatives, from ideation to timely conclusion, including the control phase. This individual will be responsible to discuss with different business units and teams to ensure the inclusion of the right participants to ensure implementation success. This role will be held accountable for financial achievement and/or justification for projects implemented.Job FunctionsEnsure consistency as well as drive standardization and best practices across the organization by collaborating with Operations Leaders, GBS Leadership, SMEs and project team membersDevelop recommendations and implementing enhancements to the GBS including methodology, training, tools and redesign to improve processesPerform root cause analysis to create scalable, lasting solutions to operational problemsContribute to the development of a repeatable model for operational issue resolutionLead Enterprise scale initiatives from concept refinement, introduction and buy-in, achieving executive sponsorship, project scoping, phasing and implementation, milestone development, success measurement and control plansDevelop business process management playbooks and documentation to ensure understanding of processes by stakeholder and end usersDevelop relationships with internal stakeholders and resources to collaborate and influence desired outcomes that benefit the organizationKey Job ResponsibilitiesAlign different players of the organization on the vision and scoping of large initiatives to achieve support and buy-in from stakeholders and affected departmentsCollaborates with departments to develop performance targets to evaluate their outcomesEnsures that department projects and initiatives are aligned with Company, Senior Leadership, Functional Departments and Strategic InitiativesIdentify process inefficiencies and recommend appropriate solutionsGuide teams in creating, designing, and formatting improvements needed to describe system changesCompile monthly/required statistical and narrative reportsLead the implementation of operational strategies and objectives across multiple departments/centersLead cross-functional team to design and implement new processesCollaborate with business leaders to develop comprehensive and functional strategic plans aimed at attaining optimum performance while maintaining an aggressive approach to cost/maintenanceFacilitates sessions with users, SME’s, and/or business owners to extract key business requirementsDevelop (if needed), assess and utilize analysis opportunities based on all available data to support the strategy development of opportunities for project performance and efficiency improvementsEvaluate process documentation, applications used, application dependencies, other process interdependencies to develop “current state and optimal process designDocument project/initiative journey to ensure consistency and sustainabilityPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements5+ Years of experience in Project Management and large initiatives implementation5+ Years on a leadership role idealBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or any related fieldPMI or similar certification highly desirableSix Sigma/Lean or PMO Certification desirableStrong analytical skillsTransformational change experienceStrong presentation skills (Clients and Executives)Strong written and verbal communication skillsWe are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
