Location: US Nationwide (Remote – Home Office with US Travel)

To support our growth, we are currently seeking a Project Lead for our Utility Program and Services division to focus on launching and standardizing customer programs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with local teams across the US and Canada and support numerous utility program designs and launches related to energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, and decarbonization.

What you will be doing: 

Work in partnership with local teams and nationally focused subject matter experts to develop a systematic launch strategy for various utility programs. Serve as the primary point of contact on new project launches while the local team becomes established; coordinating with the clients and various teams to ensure a successful startup phase. Develop a project transition timeline and ensure a successful handoff between startup phase and steady state. Assist regional lead with local hiring and staffing plans as necessary. Support and/or lead continuous improvement or standardization projects, as necessary, to improve overall business processes, financials, or client experience. Lead regular coordination efforts to ensure best practices are adopted across various geographic regions. Support business development pursuits and strategic growth opportunities. 
 

Note: Up to 35% travel is expected in this role but dictated by project startups and could vary year to year. Must be located near major metropolitan airport. 
 

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):  

Bachelor’s degree (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)5+ years of experience in program or project management with direct client interactions 5+ years of experience successfully launching and/or supporting utility programs such as energy efficiency, electrification, or demand response.

What we would like you to have: 

Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar project management or continuous improvement certifications. 5+ years of experience managing utility consulting projects Industry certifications, professional affiliations, and publications Strategic mindset with the ability to identify operational efficiencies and develop best practices to ensure consistency. Ability to establish influential partnerships at all levels. Demonstrated ability to manage a cross functional team (both in-house and virtual)

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$69,862.00 - $118,765.00
