Sr. Public Sector Account Executive
Job Description We are a seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join a leading Value-Added Reseller (VAR) specializing in providing cutting-edge technology solutions to State and Local Government Agencies and K-12 or Higher Education. This individual will be responsible for hunting new business within the state and building their Public Sector portfolio and market share. As a Senior Public Sector Account Manager, you will be pivotal in building and nurturing relationships with public sector clients. Your expertise will drive strategic growth, ensuring that this company continues to be the trusted partner for innovative IT solutions in the public sector. What We Are Looking For: Proven track record of exceptional success in public sector Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Passion for technology and innovation This is a direct hire role offering a competitive commission plan. This role will offer a base salary of 85k-125k + Commission. Commission is paid monthly and is typically averaged to be an additional 50% of compensation. This role can sit remotely in Illinois, Tallahassee, North Carolina, Miami, New Jersey or New York on a day-to-day but will require meeting clients face to face to drive and close revenue opportunities.
