Sr. Quality Control Analyst (Onsite)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Quality Control Analyst executes the Servicing Quality Control Plan and ensures that the company is satisfying its quality control requirements relative to his or her assigned process audits. He or she conducts quality control reviews in accordance with the prescribed audit schedule, designed to comply with compliance monitoring, investor requirements, policies, and procedures.  The Sr. Quality Control Analyst demonstrates proficiency in understanding mortgage servicing guidelines, regulations, auditing and testing of complex mortgage servicing processes.  This auditing professional completes assignments ahead of deadlines, with significant attention to detail, without sacrificing quality.  Sr. Quality Control Analysts require minimal supervision and produce highly defendable work products. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct Quality Control audits according to audit schedules and requirements

Demonstrate proficiency performing assignments within designated QC audit software in accordance with procedures

Conclude on the audits performed with concise, fact based, well supported findings

Issue findings/recommendations to Servicing Operations and Production once concluding on valid exceptions

Assist QC Management Team with documenting audit methods, audit testing scripts, and audit questionnaire content

Assist QC Management Team with audit criteria calibration with Servicing Operations & Production

Make recommendations regarding remedial actions and work with Servicing Operations and Production to drive change

Ability to develop new, and maintain existing, business relationships in a complex cross-organizational and cross-functional matrix environment with both internal and external stakeholders

Collaborates with peers and leadership across the Business Units to drive change management and process improvements

Provide support, solutions, or subject knowledge to assist subordinate teammates with their assigned audits

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Superior written and oral communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Familiarity with mortgage servicing loan servicing systems, QC software e.g. ACES or TenA Second Look, Black Knight

Excellent research and writing skills

Strong working knowledge of agency and investor QC requirements

5+ years of mortgage experience, with strong emphasis on QC experience
