ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Work closely with the customer and team members, supporting production and customers on a daily basis.
+ Assess quality performance and cost-of-quality using statistical and analytical methods.
+ Develop and implement complex methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, reliability, and accuracy of products, processes, and production equipment.
+ Establish advanced quality systems, procedures, inspection plans, and technical quality plans for proposals.
+ Analyze the cost of non-conformance and perform statistical analyses to determine responsibility for products or materials that do not meet standards.
+ Collaborate with product development teams to recommend improvements in manufacturability and quality.
+ Conduct audits and surveys to ensure compliance with specified quality requirements and develop programs to improve supplier performance.
+ Develop sampling plans and inspection procedures, and maintain statistical process controls.
+ Prepare comprehensive reports by analyzing data and making recommendations for improvements.
+ Participate in failure analysis and corrective action investigations as a member of the Material Review Board.
+ Implement continuous improvement practices and lean manufacturing principles to enhance products and processes.
+ Serve as a primary contact during internal and external audits, developing corrective action procedures and plans.
+ Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional associations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other closely related technical field. ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt or CQE certification preferred.
+ Minimum of 6 years related experience.
+ Quality Engineering experience with the Aerospace or Automotive industry supporting the aftermarket business.
+ Internal, customer and regulatory compliance audit experience.
+ FAA training and CAAC training preferred.
+ Must adapt easily to changes in priorities.
+ Must have knowledge of PPAP or APQP document creation & approval . In depth knowledge of variation management, PPAP, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans and other advanced quality tools
+ Background in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing ANSI Y14.5 to interpret manufacturing drawings and tolerance requirements
+ Experience with machined parts, castings, springs, seals, electronic components, wire harnesses, special processes, assemblies and test methods.
+ Problem solving techniques including 8D, six sigma, or equivalent.
+ Knowledge of Aerospace industry specifications and Customer Quality requirements. Knowledge of AS9100 and related requirements.
+ Working knowledge in computer skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project, Power BI Experience using Netinspect (FAIR, APQP/PPAP, Quality Module, etc), Infinity QS real time SPC, Aquapro, Minitab is preferred.
+ Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Strong facilitation and project management skills preferred.

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California and Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $93,195 - $155,514.
