Role Overview:

The SR Facilities Manager is the conduit for all our sites within North American and Latin America.. You will provide leadership and direction to a third-party vendor in delivering facilities management services in a professional office environment. You will also be the conduit when rightsizing the office in working with outside vendors as well as the business unit leaders in making sure dates are met. Additionally you are responsible for building your network with Senior Leaders within your sites. Background experience working within a Workplace Strategy/Real Estate team; understanding your portfolio and financial responsibilities.

What You Will Do:

Work in conjunction with the SR Director of Workplace Strategy to develop and execute the overall vision of the facilities team.

Work closely with the Workplace Strategy Team for involvement with new and terminated leases.  Lease experience is preferred.

Oversee a team of Workplace Experience Managers/facility leaders and providing guidance and assistance if needed

Ensure all safety procedures are followed within our Environmental Health and Safety area.. Assist in development of training programs to increase team capabilities.

Drive continuous improvement for our Business Unit leaders and associates.

Manage third-party contractors / vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties.

Ability to manage and oversee projects using project management skills.

Assist in site incident investigation, utilize structure problem solving to identify root cause of failures.

Team with the SR Director of Workplace Strategy to develop and maintain operating budgets for sites, meeting targets as defined.

Help negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost savings all while the needs of the operation are met.

Check completed work by contractors and vendors and verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing.

Help prepare and track facility budget and monitor monthly Facility spend.

Complete Purchase Orders and Cap Ex Requests where needed.

Team with the Workplace Strategy Team and Small Projects Team to develop property specific multi-year capital improvement project plans; and, manage the process to complete in-scope projects.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with Trellix and third-party vendors.

Primary interface with SR and Business unit leaders at your sites. Collaborate to determine their expectations. 

Demonstrate leadership, responsiveness, and creativity in finding solutions for Workplace Strategy.

Ensure best practices are implemented to meet expectations

Identify opportunities to improve quality, customer service and cost performance, and execute approved plans.

Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for senior management.

Act as an ambassador for Trellix, adopting and maintaining the firm’s core values of Teamwork, Ethics and Excellence

Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices, timely training, best practices as well as delivering rewards and recognitions to promote safe behavior.

Help develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

A minimum of five to eight years of Facilities Management experience is required.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. AutoCAD experience would be a plus

Experience in managing facilities teams.

Demonstrated experience in managing 24 / 7 operations in a fast-paced work environment.

Ability to plan and manage within budget and time constraints.

Familiarity with and understanding of various building systems.

Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.

Strong collaborative management style.

Able to travel up to 25%

Base Pay Range: $120,000 - 140,000.  Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
