Having the ability to dive deep into data, while also being able to clearly communicate synthesized and summarized insights to leaders is critical for this role. In addition, you should have the ability and desire to connect data to processes and help train customer facing account team members on operational best practices.Working inside the Go-To-Market Organization, you will work cross-functionally with peers and leaders in Business Applications IT, Compensation, Finance, Partner Operations, Marketing, and Legal to help Renewal and Sales Leadership manage our subscription business. You will assist in the planning and execution process from start to finish – from helping to establish territories, sizing capacity, and quota setting to reporting performance results throughout the year. In addition, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all data, process, and reporting needed to support Renewal Leadership renew our customers. You should be data driven, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to balance completing tactical objectives while focusing on high impact projects. You are a standout colleague with a hands-on approach to resolving issues and meeting goals, who also embraces making strategic decisions and advising high level management within the organization.Qualifications7+ years of experience in a Sales Operations or related role in the enterprise software/technology industry.Familiarity with Enterprise Sales Infrastructure like Salesforce CRM, Clari, and Anaplan.Practical, current, hands-on knowledge of data management and analytics solutions, such as Tableau (or similar), BI tools, Snowflake, SQL, and an absolute Excel Legend!Solid understanding of SaaS and/or Enterprise Sales business mode.Proven track record to perform in-depth analysis, compile and interpret results, and present strategies and make recommendations to senior management.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills coupled with the ability to present complex content to business audiences.Proactive approach and desire to continually evolve the way we use data to drive impactful insights.Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced unstructured environment with dynamic requirements and priorities.Ability to work collaboratively across the organization.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.Ownership for actions and accountable for the outcomes.Willing to take on the tough projects and challenges to support growth of the business.Experience with driving and leading change across organizations.Passionate about driving the execution of the Renewals GTM Strategy, including supporting target setting, coverage modeling, capacity planning and forecasting.Collaborate with Renewals leaders to find practical ways to bring together data and insights to monitor and direct the performance of the business.Help identify and surface Win/Loss themes across the theater.Helping prepare operational review content to present success to senior leadership, with focus on key drivers of renewal business.Being incredibly familiar and hands-on with the data and metrics of the business, able to adapt reporting and build visualizations that are needed for outward and upward communication.Finding opportunities to continuously improve systems, process, and data to eliminate gaps in performance insight, improve data accuracy, and drive operational efficiencies.Keeping current on Splunk’s product portfolio, pricing strategies, quoting systems, contracting tools, and subscription management tools to identify and mitigate risks to operational coverage and reporting.Overall, being a partner to the business, understanding and prioritizing work based on the insight it can provide to positively and directly impact Splunk’s bottom line.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business or technical field (e.g. Operations, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, etc.).Splunk is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt Splunk, we believe creating a culture of belonging isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s also the smart thing. Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $160,000.00 - 220,000.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $144,000.00 - 198,000.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $129,600.00 - 178,200.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
