Sr. Representative, Business DevelopmentResponsibilities include the research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plans. Evaluates projects through financial feasibility studies, market research, and planning. May assist with special studies in areas such as operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, or cost containment. Under general supervision, responsible for establishing and maintaining client contacts within a specified product line or region. Evaluate client inquiries and bid recommendations to assist in the framing of sales strategy, pricing and contract negotiations. Coordinate meetings between company technical personnel and client representatives for the purpose of developing the details of the sale while maintaining budget tracking on pursuits. The skills for this position are typically acquired through a technical degree and 10+ years industry experience including 5+ years in business development or sales.
