SUMMARY
The Senior Research Associate 1 (second level research position, track one) supports research activities under the direction of a principle investigator, program director or designee of the principle investigator or program director.

DEPARTMENT ADDENDUM
Department Specific Functions
1. Collaborate with National Project Director of the Better Together Study at Howard University, the Project Directors at University of Chicago Illinois and at the University of Miami, in the development of research materials for the Better together study (CTN 144). These materials include training modules, assessments, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
2. Assist in the development and the implementation of the Implementation study for Better together. This includes providing support for the development of redcap and supporting interviews of participants and providers.
3. Serve as a back up Research Assistant for the Miami site for the Better Together study. In this capacity, participate in collecting data for the study.
4. Support the development of manuscripts for publications, presentations and scholarly products of the Florida Node Alliance of the CTN
5. Participate in National zoom and in person meetings for the Better Together study-
6. Participate in national (zoom and in-person) meetings of the NIDA clinical trials network.
7. Work with teams from other Nodes of the NIDA National Drug Treatment Clinical trials network (CTN)
8. Support the development of grant applications and concept development for the CTN
9. Prepare applications for IRB approval and manage communications pertaining regulatory / human subjects related reports between the regulatory specialists and the Lead Project Directors and participating sites of trials conducted as part of the Florida Node Alliance of the CTN
