We are seeking a Sr. Retention Marketing Specialist to join our Outdoor Performance platform which consists of Simms Fishing, Stone Glacier, Bushnell, Camp Chef, Primos, Blackhawk, and additional outdoor accessory brands.
As the Sr. Retention Marketing Specialist, you will execute brands’ retention marketing channels including, but not limited to, email marketing, SMS, loyalty, and review collection. We are looking for someone who can constantly push the retention channels forward with email best practices, creative examples, and identifying revenue-driving opportunities to grow brand equity and revenue value of the email channel. As part of the Growth Marketing team, you’ll implement key elements of brand email programs on schedule towards brand and sales goals and collaborate on seasonal calendars to launch cross-channel campaigns.
This position reports to the Retention Marketing Manager, which is a hybrid work schedule based out of our Bozeman, MT office.
As the Senior Retention Marketing Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to:
Execution of Retention Marketing Programs: Drive the key elements and growth of the email & SMS marketing programs, including strategy execution, testing, scheduling, and reporting on channel performance.
Launch growth tactics per ecommerce strategy that drive lifetime value, repeat purchase, and new customer growth through digital campaign touch points.
Establish digital journeys that drive lead conversion and repeat purchase through timely and relevant automated communications.
Build, test, and launch DTC and Professional community communications per promotional and marketing calendar.
Utilize key customer segments to drive personalized messaging, product recommendations, and timely communication.
Own and communicate all email channel metrics, including open rate, CTR, engagement by content type, and revenue contribution.
Creative Briefing & Collaboration: This position will own creative briefing and brand marketing collaboration for their owned channels.
Write creative briefs, review assets, and ensure on-brand communication for emails, SMS, loyalty and the retention strategic channels.
Collaborate with Marketing Managers on product launches, seasonal collections, and key campaigns to launch best-in-class, industry-leading digital campaigns.
Reporting: reporting on key metrics and analytics within these channels for their assigned brands.
Conduct weekly and monthly analysis of owned channels to provide KPI centric reporting on progress/opportunities within retention marketing.
Own CDP analysis and reporting
Leverage research, insights, and campaign results to make data-driven decisions, including identifying potential profitable new retention channels.
Assist, as needed, with broader digital marketing initiatives that help drive growth for the site and brands overall.
You Have:
2+ years of retention marketing experience in two or more channels: email, SMS, loyalty, review collection. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related area of study. Prior experience in a retention marketing role required Klaviyo and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required Proficient in Microsoft Excel Understanding of marketing funnels and how they drive strategy. Self-starter with natural curiosity to seek out solutions. Ability to work with a fast-moving and always-learning team. Understand the big picture on ecommerce contribution to the brand.Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
