Sr. Revenue Accountant

The Senior Revenue Accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager with a broad range of responsibilities that are critical to the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This role involves overseeing various aspects of accounting operations, supporting audit engagements, optimizing financial systems and processes, and maintaining rigorous internal controls. The Senior Accountant will collaborate closely with other finance team members and departments across the company to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
+ Apply GAAP accounting standards accurately and consistently across all financial reporting to ensure compliance and reliability.
+ Manage precise recording of journal entries, vendor expenses, and financial close procedures within major ERP systems to maintain accurate financial records.
+ Deliver high-quality outputs consistently in a fast-paced environment, managing time efficiently and maintaining productivity under pressure.
+ Support the team with reviewing revenue policies, procedures, controls, and drive compliance with GAAP
+ Review customer arrangements for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards and summarize customer agreements with non-standard terms impacting revenue recognition
+ Provide support and assistance in determining proper accounting for products and services including new introductions
+ Participate in monthly revenue related tasks and analysis including monthly revenue close process (e.g. reconcile revenue, reserves, deferred revenue, etc.)
+ Prepare journal entries to ensure appropriate revenue treatment
+ Review various analysis to support the Company’s compliance with revenue recognition guidance
+ Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects

Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Required)
+ Licensed CPA (Required)
+ 3+ years in an Revenue Accounting role
+ Travel expected: <25%
+ Office Requirements: Fully remote
