Sr. Risk Manager, Global Product and Food Safety
The Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team's charter is to protect Amazon customers from products that are illegal, illegally marketed, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited by Amazon policies. The Product Safety policy lead will own analysis and risk assessment activities required to formulate solution design and implementation of WW product safety polices. They will serve as our go-to subject matter expert for difficult questions regarding the optimal policies required to make scalable decisions related to product safety. In this role, you will work closely with corporate counsel, legal, business teams, selling partner experience and support teams, operational excellence, product, BI and data science/engineering teams to deliver high-impact end to end product safety solutions. Think of this role as a non-technical “solution architect” where you will be given the autonomy to develop a strategy and build effective controls to ensure WW customer safety.

Key job responsibilities
1. The Senior Risk Manager supports new tools and programs supporting the store's global compliance efforts.
2. This person will influence behavior, plan solution designs with multiple teams including legal/business partners, and inspire cross-functional team commitments all while complying with Amazon quality standards.
3. The Senior Risk Manager will maintain daily, weekly, and monthly metrics to report to onsite management teams and corporate based reporting systems. This person will ensure compliance with all corporate compliance program expectations and applicable federal, state, and local law.
4. This person will conduct risk assessments related to existing processes and new product assortment.
5. This person will also recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to corporate compliance, including process change and training considerations.
