Position Overview:   

How do you verify real people in the digital world? Entrust helps companies see real identity – the humans behind the screens – using world-leading AI and identity experts. Our solutions enable customers to prove their identities, wherever they are, with just an ID and their face.

Our AI-based technology assesses whether a user’s government-issued ID is genuine or fraudulent and then compares it against their facial biometrics. That’s how we give companies like DocuSign, Revolut and Remitly the assurance they need to onboard customers remotely and securely.

Entrusts Acquisition sales team is continuing to grow rapidly, as we see Account Executives as core enablers to impact our revenue and delighting customers.

We are looking for experienced, methodical and passionate Enterprise sales professional to drive Entrust America’s region growth. Our Sr. Account Executives are responsible for development, qualification and acceleration of their opportunities with enterprise prospects across a number of industry verticals. You’ll work as a trusted advisor to deeply understand prospects challenges and goals and articulate the value of Entrust to prospective clients where Identity Verification is key.

You will be part of a high performing team working closely with Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Onboarding and Implementation teams. Your biggest responsibility will be pipeline and acquisition of new logo accounts. Our ideal candidate is someone who is adept at building strong relationships and able to acquire a thorough understanding of the customer’s needs and requirements.

Responsibilities: 

Play the role of a pipeline and key prospect acquisition strategy builder by understanding our customers business goals and creating key partnerships to know their business inside and out.

Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets

Accurately and timely update of all opportunities in SFDC

Develop long term strategies for pipeline and making plans to achieve certain pipeline KPIs

Position yourself as a dedicated resource for new logo account growth in your assigned territory.

Work closely with your customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their challenges and goals.

Lead all aspects of deal execution, including prioritization of deals, strategic and financial assessment, transaction structuring and negotiation.

Become a subject matter expert, representing Entrust in your target industry sectors.

Basic Qualifications  

4+ years' experience in a quota carrying software or technology enterprise sales role with a history of selling either Security Software, Infrastructure Software or Identity Software.

Succeeded in a fast paced and competitive market having had ownership of prospecting and acquiring new logo accounts.

Proven experience in managing complex deals

Experience with pipeline build and maintaining pipeline health

The ability to build rapport and relationships with large customers

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Experience with researching market trends and generating more sales

Experience in carrying a quota and consistently hitting sales targets

A disciplined, methodical and process driven sales approach – you’ll be skilled in managing time and resources; have a sound approach to qualifying opportunities coupled with strong business acumen

A strong desire to be successful, you’ll be a goal-oriented team player

The adaptability required to succeed in a fast paced, high growth environment to establish credibility with internal and external stakeholders

An active interest in the importance and value of identity Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM

Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, partners and colleagues

Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the identity or security industry

MEDDIC / MEDDPICC / Force Management trained

Compensation Range:


The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $126,380-$185,357 per year (in the primary posting location). This position is also eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience and actual performance against the assigned sales compensation plan.
