Job Responsibilities:

Make innovative contributions by leading the identification and procurement of lab automation solutions for pain points in drug product developmentCoordinate timely execution of work packages that support drug product development. Coordination typically includes representatives from Analytical, Statistics and Sterile formulationsActively participate in project meetings and contribute effectively to ongoing efforts in the lab automation areaAdvance scientific understanding and improve current ways of working in automation as applied to drug product development and participating in internal presentations and applying knowledge of the current literatureDeliver the above in a precise and timely manner, adhering to safety and quality expectations.  Comply with the requirements of Quality, Safety and customer policies and procedures and ensure that customer intellectual property is protected.Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment

Basic Qualifications:

PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, mechanical engineering or any engineering field ORMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, mechanical engineering or any engineering field with 3-5 years of similar experience in protein formulation and drug delivery development experience ORBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics, mechanical engineering or any engineering field with 5-7 years of similar experience in protein formulation and drug delivery development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with scoping automation and developing automated workflowsExperience with liquid handlers such as Hamilton and TecanExperience scoping, creating URS with SME input and procuring equipment/instrumentsExperience with data automation and data engineering principlesProven ability to lead collaboratively in a matrix style environmentAnalytical and physical testing, and data analysisKnowledge and experience applying data integrity principles in everyday activities

Working Environment

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $71,240.00 to $106,600.00. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
