Sr. Shipping Supervisor

**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Oversee daily shipping operations and manage up to 29 direct reports.
+ Coordinate with production and logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules.
+ Communicate with outside contractors, including Union Pacific Railroad, for proper rail shipments and rail car utilization, as well as contractors for rail repairs.
+ Maintain inventory records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
+ Train and supervise shipping personnel to enhance team performance and resolve any shipping issues promptly.

**Physical Demands of the Job**
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

+ Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
**Essential Experience and Skills**
+ 3+ years of relevant work experience.
+ Self-starter with high energy and a minimum of five to seven years of related experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and solve complex problems.
+ Excellent communication skills for presenting information and responding to questions from various stakeholders.
