Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

Duties: Provide the design, deployment, automation, and scripting solutions to drive new capabilities, visibility, and efficiency. Collaborate with other technical platforms and partners to engineer automated and integrated solutions between tools, services, and teams that increase availability, reliability, and performance. Ensure the internal and external SLA’s are met and exceed expectations. Maintain a 24x7, global, highly available SaaS environment. Participate in an on-call rotation that supports the production infrastructure. Troubleshoot production availability incidents that often span across multiple teams and services. Facilitate production incident post-mortems and contribute to solutions to prevent problem recurrence. Communicate to business and technical partners on incidents as they occur when they impact system performance or availability at a critical level.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Site Reliability Engineer -related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Working with automation via scripting and API development.

2. Utilizing automated pipelines.

3. Working with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS), Python, Terraform, Monitoring (Grafana or Datadog), and Bug Tracking (Jira or ServiceNOW).

4. Working with containerization (Kubernetes).

5. Participated in Incident Management activities resolving incidents, contribute to postmortem/RCA process, and develop integrated automated solutions.
