We are currently seeking a Sr. Software development Engineer in test (SDET) to join our automation team. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in test automation framework development and deployment. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Role
• Develop and maintain Test automation framework.
• Develop and execute automated test cases and perform bug tracking and management.
• Understand user features and create test plans and test cases for assigned features.
• Contribute to building a flexible and scalable automation solution.
• Be a customer advocate and work closely with the team to ensure our testing strategy and environments resemble closely to customer use cases.
· Drive validation of high quality, high performance, and production ready software
· Ensure quality from low-level software to end applications
· Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
· Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
· Design, maintain and execute automated tests, including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
· Support and coordinate between QA engineers and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage
Qualifications
· 5+ years Experience with scripting, automation, and test development.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field.
· Experience in test automation for Linux and/or Android OS.
· Experience with continuous integration systems.
· Fluency in Python or any other scripting language.
· Highly technical, organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results.
Bonus Qualifications
Relevant experience in field of automotive.
Educations:
• MS or BS in related Engineering discipline
