Senior Software Engineer

Alianza is on a mission to be the world’s best cloud-based telecommunications platform for
 service providers. We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build innovative
 solutions. You’ll write well designed, testable, and efficient code, debug and troubleshoot
 existing code, and promote sustainable engineering practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Skills5+ years of software engineering experience in Java-based programming (or equivalent)Strong Java skills using JDK11 (Lambdas, Collections, GC Optimizations, Threading)Experience in application architecture and designMastery in writing database-driven web services with REST-based services i.e, JAX-RSMastery in writing event/messaging servicesExperience building and migrating to MicroservicesExperience with Inversion of Control (IOC) frameworks like Dropwizard.io, Spring BootExperience with IaaS and PaaS – Amazon Web Services (AWS) preferredExperience with Git and GithubExperience with Continuous Integration/Continuous DeploymentMaster Your CraftDesign, create, and implement Java-based applicationsInterpret design docs and user stories to create high-quality coding that functions according to specificationsWrite high-quality and fully tested codeUnderstand the benefits of code reviews and can give and receive them graciouslyYou value quality and employ best practices to deliver correct solutions that are maintainable and reliable without being over-engineered. Take OwnershipYou take personal ownership seriously and drive excellent outcomes for your team and all stakeholders.
