Recovery Database Network (RDN), an OPENLANE brand, provides software and data solutions to help the automotive industry recover assets. Our industry-leading technology improves the efficiency and productivity for the entire recovery, re-titling and remarketing value chain. 

 

RDN connects auto lending institutions with every aspect of the repossession and disposition value chain: repossession companies, field visit companies, skip‐tracing companies, forwarding companies, and auto auctions. RDN is closely integrated and shares management with OPENLANE subsidiary Clearplan, providing integrated workflow management, logistics and reporting. 

 

 

About Our Candidate:  

We are seeking to bring on talented software developers interested in remote work opportunities. We are an agile development team delivering high quality products on the Web, iOS, and Android with backend microservices orchestrated by Kubernetes on the AWS cloud.

Are you an innovative and passionate Software Engineer who enjoys building next generation front end user experience and interfaces?  Do you enjoy the highly collaborative nature of working in an agile/scrum environment? 

 

What You Will Be Doing:  

Develop high quality code to build solutions in an agile development environment

Manage testing, coordinate deployments in multiple environments

Participate in code reviews, planning and estimation meetings

Containerize, troubleshoot, create and build images

Operating with collaborative code repositories, Git and Gitflow, version control and release management

Engage in cross-discipline collaboration with team members including the product owners, designers, and testers

Accepting full-time hybrid and remote candidates.

 

What You Need to Be Successful:  

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a related technical field involving coding.

5+ years of software engineering experience.

Ability to speak in English fluently and communicate idiomatically.

Constant desire to learn new technology and best practices, we work in various stacks and don’t expect everyone to come in knowing everything. Some combination of the nice to haves would be great.

 

Nice to haves:

Javascript (ReactJS), PHP (Laravel)

Kubernetes/Containerization

Microservices Architecture, Serverless, Cloud functions

CI/CD, Pipelines, related release and deployment concepts

AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud environments

Agile software delivery processes / DevOps

MySql or MS SQL, relational and non-relational databases (NoSql)

Service API development, Rest/Json, Soap

Automated Testing (Unit, Integration, Functional)

Compensation Range of

Annual Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00

(Depending on experience, skill set, qualifications, and other relevant factors.)
