Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Act as a Senior member in Advanced Technology Organization, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices.
• Innovate and implement new ideas in Electrical Distribution Power Applications as a part of DMS (Distribution Management System) software
• Should have good knowledge on electrical Distribution system base and advanced power applications on at least one DMS product available in the market
• Collaborate with product management team and come up with new ideas on distribution apps and develop Proof of Concepts that are aligned with product direction.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AIML engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Provides input to technical lead on schedules and cost estimates.
• Interfaces with customers on general and specific issues within area of functional expertise.
• Provides marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers.
Education Qualification
For roles outside USA:
Masters Degree in Power Systems from a top notch university
Desired Characteristics
Technical Expertise:
• Master's Degree/ PHD in Power Systems
• Experience with Windows and Unix / Linux based programming
• Experience working on software projects in the Energy domain (Distribution Management system)
• Good knowledge in Python and working knowledge on at least one of the machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, and NumPy.
• Excellent knowledge of assigned technical area and a strong understanding of the DMS software.
• Delivered power systems and/or Distribution management system applications with focus on Network Applications like Power flow, Fault Analysis, Fault Isolation and Service Restoration, Integrated Volt Var Control etc
• Experience with electric utility industry practices
• Strong knowledge of customer perspective and needs.

• Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
• Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends
