Axos Clearing is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support a wide range of financial services, including equity and mutual fund trading, account management, document generation. This role is critical in developing a large-scale system with great emphasize on microservices and integrations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in .NET Core, GO, and other modern languages, and adept in developing and managing complex microservices ecosystems.Responsibilities
Collaborate with Stakeholders and Project leadership to define and implement enterprise-level requirements.Design and develop secure, high-performance, and scalable solutions using modern software practices.Build and maintain microservices, integrating with external systems as required.Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members.Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.Minimum of 5 years in professional software development.Hands-on experience with Go, C# (.NET Core), or similar technologies.Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.Proficiency in NoSQL and relational databases.Knowledge of messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or Similar Technologies.Strong understanding of REST APIs.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Eagerness to learn about emerging technologies and adapt to project requirements.Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a drive to innovate.Preferred:
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab CI).Experience in containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, like Terraform and Ansible.Experience developing automated testing frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.About Axos
